We all need to escape sometimes.
No better place than our imagination

It's Autumn here in Australia
I finished work just before midnight and decided to take my new 400D out for a test drive
Found this cool shadow cast on the back of the Melbourne Museum by a street light
The possums where playing overhead
I positioned myself off frame to cast my shadow against the tree

This is a 30sec exposure.

I tried a couple of these with different poses - propped up on one leg to give the impression I was standing with my foot against the tree.
I'm sure I looked silly running around in the dark, balancing on one leg.
Figured it was time to call it quits when a homeless person set up camp nearby.

Thanks mate! it's one of my personal favorites. I actually stumbled across this on my way home from another late night shoot - just goes to show that 'happy accident's' sometimes turn out best
