This one is better compositionally, but it could do with some more contrast like the other one had. Either way, it's a great photo. I love it

Thanks for the feedback mate! I've never been great at the subtleties of grayscale conversion. The shadow of the tree tends to get a little distracting in this when I go darker but maybe I'll go back and have another look.
